Job summary

Crypto.com is seeking a Senior Risk Manager to enforce regulatory standards, monitor real-time and end-of-day risk across futures accounts, and lead risk-control initiatives. You will collaborate with trading, operations, technology, and compliance to ensure DCO and regulatory compliance.

Ideal candidates bring 5–10+ years in risk management or derivatives, strong Python/SQL skills, and a proven ability to make swift risk calls under market stress.

Qualifications

• 5–10+ years in risk management, trading, or derivatives operations.
• Degree in quantitative discipline; CFA/FRM adds advantage.
• Proficient in Python and SQL.
• Strong understanding of derivatives, multi-asset pricing, funding rates.
• Familiar with CFTC, NFA, and SEC regulations.
• Self-motivated with ability to work independently.
• Track record of swift risk calls under pressure.
• Excellent written and verbal communication for leadership and regulators.

Responsibilities

• Enforce regulatory standards set by CFTC, NFA, and applicable DCOs.
• Compile regulatory risk reporting, support risk attestations, and liaise during audits.
• Monitor real-time and end-of-day risk exposures across client futures accounts.
• Identify and escalate risk-limit breaches, abnormal trading, or position spikes.
• Evaluate margin adequacy and enforce margin requirements, intraday and variation margin.
• Execute risk escalation protocols: margin calls, trading restrictions, credit limits, liquidations.
• Manage pre-trade risk controls and position limits; enforce regulatory standards across accounts.
• Evaluate risk for new products; ensure proper risk controls and DCO compliance.
• Perform client onboarding risk assessments and ongoing monitoring.
