Orrstown Bank in Pennsylvania seeks a Credit Analyst to support loan officers with financial analyses for commercial loans. You will develop credit information, prepare reports, and help evaluate borrower creditworthiness.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in business/finance/accounting, strong analytical and Excel/database skills, and knowledge of lending regulations. On-site at Harrisburg or York, PA within the Credit Department for growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or Accounting; equivalent work experience will be considered in lieu of a degree.
• Experience in spreading and analyzing financial statements for commercial loans (business & personal).
• Working knowledge of Credit Department practices and procedures.
• Proficient reading, verbal and written communication, mathematical, computer, and interpersonal relations skills; knowledge of lending regulations.

Responsibilities

• Develop credit information from various sources for loan officers and approval authorities; prepare financial spreadsheets and compile supporting financial information; analyze financial information to determine borrower creditworthiness.
• May make recommendations on granting or denying loans and document recommendations with financial analysis work.
• Prepare commercial loan presentations for approval authorities and ensure up-to-date financial statements and aging reports are on file.
• Ensure credit analysis activities are conducted in accordance with lending policy.
