Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Construction Management, Engineering, Data Analytics, or related field.
• 0-3 years of experience in cost analysis, project controls, accounting, construction, or related area.
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills, including formulas, sorting/filtering data, and basic reporting.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Analytical mindset with an interest in working with large datasets.
• Strong communication skills and willingness to collaborate with project teams.
• Self-starter with a positive attitude and eagerness to learn.

Responsibilities

• Assist with tracking project costs, budgets, and forecasts.
• Review project spending and identify cost variances.
• Prepare weekly and monthly cost reports and presentations.
• Maintain project cost data within internal cost management systems.
• Assist with processing change orders and budget adjustments.
• Review contractor invoices for accuracy and support cost tracking efforts.
• Coordinate with project managers and project teams to monitor budget performance.
• Update and maintain Excel workbooks used for reporting and analysis.
• Utilize Power BI dashboards and project data to generate reports and insights.
• Support spend tracking, cash flow reporting, and drawdown curves.
• Help ensure project documentation is accurate, organized, and up to date.
• Assist with continuous improvement efforts and learn new project controls tools and processes.
