Job summary

Intralox, a division of Laitram, is seeking entry-level talent to join our Controls Engineering team in Baltimore, MD. The role involves CAD-based panel design, PLC programming, and supporting system commissioning for conveyance solutions.

Ideal candidates hold a B.S. in Electrical Engineering (or equivalent), have 0–2 years of related experience, and can start in June 2027. Willingness to travel up to 90% and work some weekends is required.

Qualifications

• B.S. in Electrical Engineering or equivalent (CS/EE).
• 0–2 years of related experience.
• Ability to start June 2027.
• Knowledge of controls engineering concepts, practices, and procedures.
• Ability to read electrical schematics and mechanical drawings.
• Willingness to travel up to 90% and work weekends/holidays when required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with design in CAD for electrical control panels, BOMs, and schematics.
• Program PLCs for control systems with I/O devices.
• Assist with training, commissioning, and troubleshooting of installations.
• Perform inspections and verify documentation accuracy.
• Provide on-site startup support and coordinate with field installers.
