FM Industries in Phoenix, AZ, seeks a technical professional to design, develop and maintain instrumentation and controls systems for manufacturing. You will apply standard engineering techniques, work under the Engineering Manager, and help automate processes with PLCs and embedded control solutions.

Ideal candidates have a Bachelor’s degree in engineering or 2+ years of instrumentation experience in manufacturing, with hands-on skills in electrical panels, test equipment, and system

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or 2+ years in instrumentation and controls for manufacturing.
• Experience with robotics, automotive, or process industrial systems.
• Experience with oscilloscopes, multimeters, and power supplies.
• Ability to read prints and technical drawings.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.

Responsibilities

• Design, operate, install and maintain instrumentation or controls systems.
• Automate processes using instrumentation.
• Develop or modify systems and embedded controls.
• Support setup, commissioning of new equipment.
• Troubleshoot malfunctions and propose improvements.
• Create schematics for new instrumentation.
