Job summary

Albireo Energy is seeking an entry-level systems integrator to join our Solutions team in Chicago. You will help design and implement PLC logic, HMI, and electrical control systems for projects of varying size, coordinating with senior staff and management. Expect hands-on field work, installation, commissioning, and travel to client sites in Washington, D.C.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Computer Science.
• Coursework, projects, internships or co-ops showing interest in controls, automation, embedded systems, or programming.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Experience with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).
• Willingness to travel for field activities and to develop in-office presence in DC/Atlanta.

Responsibilities

• Design and program PLC logic.
• Design and program HMI.
• Electrical control circuit design/review.
• Installation, commissioning, and field investigations.
• Perform system integrations using various protocols.
• Conduct Factory Acceptance Testing as required.
• Prepare proposals and review plans/specifications.
• Meetings/presentations with customers and teams.
• Prepare technical memos, reports, deliverables.
