Job summary

Americor, Inc. is seeking a Junior Controller to support financial operations, including reporting, budgeting, forecasting, payroll, and internal controls.

The role collaborates with HR on payroll and employee-related financial matters, helping optimize accounting processes and financial performance. The successful candidate will assist with monthly and annual statements, participate in month-end close, and support audits and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field.
• 2–5 years relevant accounting/finance experience preferred.
• Experience with financial reporting, account reconciliations, budgeting, and month-end closing.
• Experience with payroll accounting or HR-related processes is an advantage.
• CPA or CMA certification, or progress toward certification, is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist with monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and management reports.
• Support month-end and year-end closing activities, journal entries, reconciliations, and GL maintenance.
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, cash flow monitoring, and financial analysis.
• Monitor budget variances and communicate discrepancies to management.
• Oversee or assist with accounts payable/receivable, bank reconciliations, and payroll processing.
• Ensure GAAP and regulatory compliance in accounting records.
