Job summary

The Community Service Society of New York seeks a Junior Contract Manager to support higher education and employer engagement initiatives within the Education Debt Consumer Assistance Program (EDCAP). You will assist with agreements, track timelines, coordinate partner communications, and maintain program data systems.

Expect to provide direct borrower support and help document outcomes, with a hybrid work arrangement in New York, two days onsite and three days remote.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• Experience in higher education, workforce development, nonprofit, or borrower-facing roles.
• Two to four years of relevant experience in program coordination, administration, direct service, or similar roles.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Experience with data tracking, reporting, or grant-funded programs.

Responsibilities

• Support the execution of higher education and employer engagement initiatives.
• Assist with tracking project timelines, deliverables, and key milestones.
• Support development and management of agreements with colleges, employers, and other stakeholders.
• Track partnership agreements and coordinate partner communications, ensuring timely follow-up and proper documentation.
• Maintain and update program data systems, ensuring accuracy and consistency across initiatives.
• Support data compilation and reporting on program outputs and outcomes for internal and external audiences.
• Coordinate logistics for meetings, convenings, and program activities, including scheduling, materials, and documentation.
• Maintain organized files, records, and shared systems to support efficient program operations.
• Assist in developing materials, summaries, and communications, and provide general administrative and programmatic support.
• Provide direct borrower support, including assisting clients with navigating repayment options, completing required processes, and resolving loan challenges under guidance from senior staff.
• Contribute to documenting borrower outcomes and integrating client insights into program learning and improvement.
