Job summary

Jobtailor is recruiting for a one-year program focused on on-site delivery, implementation, and adoption of Red Hat technology in the United States. Participants will join the FASTER onboarding program, learn Red Hat’s portfolio, and gain hands-on experience with enterprise IT solutions.

Candidates should be passionate about open source, have strong technical foundations, and be prepared for regular travel to customer sites and Red Hat offices while pursuing industry certifications.

Qualifications

• Open source passion and desire to build a career in tech.
• Strong technical skills in CS/IT/AI or related fields from academic or training programs.
• Demonstrated experience applying technical, analytical, and problem-solving skills on an IT project.
• Motivation to engage in self-directed learning on new technologies.
• Experience with Red Hat products or related Open Source technologies preferred.
• Exposure to Python or Bash scripting is a plus.
• Exposure to Java or Go is a plus.
• Willingness to travel regularly to customer sites and Red Hat offices.

• Support the on-site delivery, implementation, and adoption of Red Hat technology
• Participate in the 10-month FASTER Program onboarding and development program
• Learn Red Hat’s portfolio, customer engagement skills, and industry insights
• Complete training programs and attain industry-recognized certifications
• Apply technical skills to meaningful customer projects, experiences, and job shadowing opportunities
• Shadow and assist experienced Services Delivery team members
• Work directly with customers and participate in skill development opportunities
• Learn enterprise-level solution architecture processes and tools
• Support Sales organizations’ goals by delivering customer business value
• Build enterprise IT solutions based on Red Hat platforms
• Travel regularly to customer sites and local Red Hat offices
• Develop Cloud, Automation, and AI technical skills

Requirements

• Passion and curiosity for open source technology and desire to build a career within the Tech industry
• Strong technical skills in computer science, IT, AI, or related fields, gained through university programs, upskilling boot camps, certificate programs, or military experience
• Demonstrated experience applying technical, analytical, and problem-solving skills in an Enterprise IT-related project
• Motivation to engage in self-directed learning on new technologies
• Experience with Red Hat products and/or related Open Source technologies is preferred
• Exposure to scripting languages such as Python or Bash is a plus
• Exposure to programming languages such as Java or Go is a plus
• Desire to be customer-focused and understand customer needs
• Willingness to travel regularly to customer sites and local Red Hat offices
• Effective written and verbal communication and presentation skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively with internal teams and external customers
• Full professional proficiency in written and spoken English
• Ability to work without a need for current or future visa sponsorship
