Job summary

Qualifications

• Entry-level to early-career experience in construction or project coordination
• Willingness to learn scheduling software such as Primavera P6 or MS Project
• Basic understanding of construction sequencing and project workflows
• Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills
• Effective written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-based environment
• Willingness to learn new tools, technologies, and industry best practices
• Strong work ethic and interest in building a long-term career in construction
• Valid California driver's license
• Ability to pass a criminal background check for facility badging

Responsibilities

• Develop, update, and maintain construction schedules based on project scope and field input
• Work closely with project managers, superintendents, and field teams to track progress and identify schedule changes
• Support estimating and preconstruction efforts by helping integrate timelines, labor projections, and sequencing
• Learn and apply critical path concepts to understand schedule impacts and project risks
• Assist with schedule updates for proposals, RFPs, and business development efforts
• Help monitor schedule performance and prepare clear reports for project teams
• Support the integration of safety planning and risk mitigation into project schedules
• Maintain organized scheduling documentation and records for communication and transparency
• Review schedule milestones and contractual requirements with guidance from senior team members
• Learn and utilize scheduling software, tools, and emerging technologies to improve efficiency
• Participate in team meetings, training sessions, and continuous improvement initiatives
