Turner Construction Company is hiring an entry-level Environmental Health and Safety professional for the Seattle Main division. The role supports enforcement of safety policies, risk management, and adherence to EH&S programs on construction projects.

Responsibilities include conducting safety trainings, reviewing subcontractor safety programs, promoting safe work practices, maintaining safety records, and coordinating orientation sessions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Occupational Safety and Health, Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum of 1 year of related construction safety experience or equivalent education/training.
• Familiar with Federal, State, and local EH&S regulations.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and data entry.

Responsabilités

• Assist with enforcing safety policies and risk management on construction projects.
• Support training programs for safe work practices and project safety initiatives.
• Review subcontractor safety programs for compliance with regulations and owner requirements.
• Promote safe work practices and maintain safety records and incident documentation.
• Coordinate preconstruction meetings and worker orientation sessions.
• Assist in gathering and documenting Pre-Task Plans (PTPs) and Job Hazard Analyses (JHAs).
• Conduct safety audits and site inspections, documenting findings and corrective actions.
