Qualifications

• Able to work in a dynamic construction estimating team.
• Familiarity with construction methods, materials, and labor costs.
• Basic knowledge of estimating software (ProEst/Buildertrend/Bluebeam) is a plus.
• Strong analytical and mathematical skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office 365.
• Proactive and eager to learn in a fast-paced environment.
• Able to work independently and within a team.

Responsibilities

• Assist in preparing detailed cost estimates for projects, including materials, labor, equipment, and subcontractor costs.
• Analyze blueprints, specifications, and documents to prepare quantity takeoffs.
• Gather pricing information from suppliers and subs to support estimates.
• Maintain and update cost databases with material and labor costs.
• Coordinate with senior estimators and project managers to gather project details.
• Review contracts and project scope to ensure estimates align with requirements.
• Participate in bid preparation and ensure information is included in final proposals.
• Monitor project progress and update estimates as needed.
• Assist with risk assessments and identify potential cost-saving opportunities.
