Job summary

AECOM is seeking an Entry-Level Construction Engineer for our Transportation Projects in New York City Metropolitan Area (NY METRO). The Candidates will be working on Transit/Rail and Bridge/Highway Projects in New York City Metropolitan Area (NY METRO).

This position is expected to begin in Spring/Summer 2027 or as discussed. We take on the most complex challenges and pioneer innovative, iconic solutions that push the limits of what’s possible while delivering high-quality transportation

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil/Structural/Mechanical engineering or related field.
• Valid U.S. Driver’s License.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Under direct supervision, perform routine duties requiring knowledge of basic engineering principles.
• Limited exercise of judgment on details of work.
• Perform specific and limited portions of broader assignments.
• Spend large percentage of time performing estimating take-offs and walking-downs for quantity tracking and field inspections to verify adherence to design.
