Job summary

Blythe Construction, Inc. is seeking an entry-level Construction Engineer to support heavy highway/civil and site development projects.

This role reports to the Project Engineer on the jobsite and focuses on cost reporting, quantity tracking, and document controls. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management and familiarity with Excel, SAP, and scheduling tools.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Entry-level position.
• Proficiency in Excel, P6 Scheduling, Bluebeam, Planswift, AGTEK, and SAP.

Responsibilities

• Produce labor and equipment cost reports to monitor production costs, drive billing, budgets and costs to complete.
• Produce quantities (daily/weekly/monthly) to monitor production and reconcile owner quantities in SAP.
• Initiates purchase orders, submittals, and material deliveries.
• Prepare forecasted final cost reports and monthly cost/quantity accumulations for as-bid vs. as-built.
• Develop and track submittals and drawings for field use.
• Draft field sketches and interpret contract drawings for site use.
• Maintain daily logs and photo documentation.
