Job summary

Applied Research Solutions is seeking a full-time Configuration & Data Manager to support the USAF. The candidate will manage configuration data, archive documentation, and ensure CM/data deliveries meet contract requirements.

Ideal candidates have U.S. citizenship, TS/SCI clearance, 1–2 years in a DoD environment, and experience with CM processes, audits, and data management within IT systems.

Qualifications

• Must be a U.S. citizen and eligible for DoD access.
• Active TS/SCI clearance required.
• 1–2 years of DoD environment experience.
• IT Configuration Management experience within the DoD.
• Experience with HW and SW configuration audits.
• Ability to manage CM tools for inventory control, versioning, data labeling.
• Experience producing CM release notes and CM reports.
• Understanding of the CM change control process and CCBs.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide CM of all relevant program artifacts.
• Archive acquisition documentation and ensure data deliveries meet requirements.
• Review and analyze CM program and data deliveries for accuracy and compliance.
• Maintain CM files including identification, change control, and status records.
• Convene and manage CCBs, TRBs, and record changes and results.
• Participate in cross-functional change control boards to evaluate proposed changes.
• Review proposed changes to ensure no negative impact on operations.
• Prepare for and support major audits (PCAs, FCAs).
• Track data item deliverables, responses, and DRRs/PRs.
• Maintain CM library and software repository; manage baselines.
