Job summary

Applied Research Solutions (ARS) is seeking a junior Configuration & Data Manager (CM/DM) to support the USAF at JBSA Lackland, TX. This full-time role focuses on managing CM for program artifacts, data deliveries, and conformance to CDRL requirements within a DoD context.

The position requires US citizenship and an active TS/SCI clearance, with 1–2 years in a DoD environment and strong CM skills. You will collaborate with engineering, QA, and program management in an integrated product team to

Qualifications

• Must be a U.S. Citizen.
• Active TS/SCI clearance.
• 1–2 years in a DoD environment.
• IT Configuration Management experience within the DoD environment.
• Experience performing HW and SW configuration audits.
• Experience managing CM tools for inventory control, version control, data duplication, and media labeling.
• Experience producing release notes and CM reports.
• Understanding of configuration change control process and Change Control Board responsibilities.
• Experience performing baseline administrative activities for multiple environments.
• Understanding all phases of the software development life cycle.
• Ability to enter and manipulate data in a database.
• MS Office Suite proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Provide CM of all relevant program artifacts.
• Review and analyze the development/sustainment Contractor’s CM program for accuracy, completeness, and compliance.
• Maintain CM files including configuration identification, change control, and status accounting.
