Job summary

The Boeing Company in Mesa, AZ is seeking an Entry-Level Fabrication Specialist to join the ACFC team. You will develop lay-up and assembly setups, troubleshoot composite parts, and support various processes including autoclave, GFM, and other methods.

Ideal candidates will have strong teamwork, communication and leadership skills to thrive in a fast-paced manufacturing environment while preparing and painting composite components. Security clearance is required to apply.

Qualifications

• Ability to obtain a Secret security clearance.
• Must have High School Diploma/GED or equivalent.
• Experience interpreting blueprints, sketches and instructions in English.
• Able to work 1st or 2nd shift.

Responsibilities

• Develops lay-up and assembly setups for composite fabrication.
• Sets up and troubleshoots composite parts for assembly or layup.
• Assembles, lays up, or supports via autoclave and other processes the fabrication of parts.
• Identify nonconforming detail parts, assemblies and processes.
• Work with engineering to improve manufacturing processes.
• Fabricate composite detail parts using pre-preg materials and/or wet layup.
