Job summary

Hightower in Chicago is seeking a Compliance Data and Reporting Analyst to support the branch examination program and broader compliance testing efforts. You will work with experienced professionals to develop reliable reporting, review data for issues, and communicate findings.

The role focuses on turning examination needs into repeatable analysis, using SQL and tools like Alteryx, Power BI, and Power Automate to deliver impactful insights for the Compliance Department.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years of experience in data analysis, reporting, or compliance testing.
• Experience with financial services compliance is preferred.
• Ability to turn requirements into repeatable data analyses for a regulated firm.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain reports, dashboards, and analytical tools for branch examination and risk.
• Gather, reconcile, and validate information from compliance, branch, and exam systems.
• Analyze results to identify unusual activity, trends, and potential risks.
• Explain results clearly to compliance leaders and partners, document data sources and logic.
• Support the branch examination lifecycle from risk assessment to remediation tracking.
• Build repeatable data-based tests for examinations and compliance reviews.
• Collaborate with partners to deliver practical reporting solutions and data definitions.
