Job summary

Trinchero Family Estates in Napa, CA seeks a Business Analyst, Commercial Data & Reporting to support VIP distributor data, develop BI dashboards in Power BI, and optimize reporting for sales performance.

This entry-level role focuses on distributor data, reporting, and modern analytics while collaborating with Sales, Finance, IT, and Commercial teams on data quality and continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Data Analytics, Information Systems, or related field required.
• 0–2 years of experience in business analysis, sales analysis, reporting, finance, or related analytical role; internships and relevant academic projects are valuable.
• Entry-level candidates and those new to wine/beverage industry are encouraged to apply.
• Strong Excel skills; experience with Fabric/Power BI or other visualization tools preferred.
• Comfort with large datasets, structured files, and recurring reporting processes.
• VIP/distributor data, scan data, or CPG/beverage data exposure is a plus.
• Strong analytical mindset to identify trends, errors, and data exceptions.
• Excellent attention to detail and follow-through.
• Strong written and verbal communication across teams.
• Willingness to learn new systems and industry concepts quickly.
• On-site work in Napa, CA on a regular schedule.

Responsibilities

• Serve as day-to-day resource for VIP data management including depletion, distribution, revenue, and inventory.
• Develop and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports supporting sales programs and monitoring stock levels.
• Create tools to ensure data quality, availability, and efficient data processing in Fabric and Power BI.
• Investigate data discrepancies and coordinate with internal teams and distributor contacts.
• Support revenue and invoice adjustment reconciliation for visibility into results and spend.
• Build standardized reporting templates, scorecards, and recurring reviews for Sales, Finance, and leadership.
