Job summary

A-dec Inc. in Newberg, OR is seeking a entry-level Machine Operator to perform basic machining tasks under supervision. You will set up and operate machines using standard work and templates, and support quality checks on produced parts.

Ideal candidates will follow written instructions, read blueprints or templates, and demonstrate accuracy with measuring tools. Prior manufacturing exposure and basic computer skills are a plus.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read, write, and communicate work information in English.
• Previous manufacturing experience preferred, but not required.
• Manual dexterity is required.

Responsibilities

• Performs basic machining operations, including setting up power equipment to print specifications and reading takt time sheets.
• Performs semi-routine tasks such as routing, secondary cutting operations and sanding.
• Follows written/verbal instructions, templates and production orders and troubleshoots where needed.
• Maintains quality and productivity standards and adheres to safety guidelines.
