Job summary

No prior machining experience required; manufacturing experience preferred. You will join a multi-shift environment, follow safety rules, complete documentation, and participate in continuous improvement initiatives while maintaining quality.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read, write, and communicate in English with a demonstrated ability to follow written and oral instructions.
• Must possess basic computer skills.
• Able to perform basic machining math calculations within 180 days.
• Able to interpret job-related blueprints and work instructions within 180 days.
• Must have the ability and understanding to use precision measuring tools within 180 days.
• Must pass all material handling required testing within 180 days.
• Must be able to identify common tools and material types within 180 days.
• Must be able to troubleshoot problems when necessary to achieve permanent resolution.
• Demonstrated ability to manage time and resources effectively.

Responsibilities

• Operate machines and tools with a trainer while using required PPE.
• Parts finishing and deburring tasks.
• Cleaning and maintaining work area.
• Route cylinder assembly test equipment.
• Solder equipment and saw equipment handling.
• Operate Bridgeport and DSM, drill and tap work.
• Routinely inspect production parts to blueprints/standard work.
• Complete required documentation and maintain safety/quality standards.
• Participate in TPM and continuous improvement initiatives.
