Job summary

Tecomet is seeking a CNC Machinist I to produce machined parts by operating CNC machines, ensuring quality and safety, and maintaining equipment per Tecomet’s continuous improvement culture. You will follow work instructions, maintain records, and support productivity targets while adhering to GMP/GDP guidelines.

The role requires HS diploma or GED with production experience; preferred is an associate degree or machinist apprenticeship. Strong attention to detail and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED required.
• Production environment experience (E/D).
• Preferred: Associate's degree/certificate in Tooling & Machining or Machinist apprenticeship.

Responsibilities

• Operate CNC machines within tolerances per work instructions and drawings.
• Change dull tooling or make minor offsets for wear.
• Ensure quality by OOQ standards and inspection reports.
• Perform routine machine maintenance per PM schedule.
• Perform hand finishing.
• Follow GMP/GDP and complete job routers/cards.
• Maintain safety, identify and report SH&E issues.
• Meet productivity targets and identify improvements.
• Record activities in the job tracking system.
• Support Continuous Improvement and issue resolution with team.
