Job summary

Mueller Water Products in Cleveland, TN is seeking a Technical Machine Operator I to run CNC lathes and mills, read blueprints, inspect parts, and maintain equipment. You will follow GD&T specifications, perform setup changes, and document production and quality results on a daily basis.

Safety and efficiency are priorities. The role requires 3+ years in CNC environments, familiarity with micrometers/calipers, and knowledge of DMG Mori/Amada systems.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• CNC Machining Certification preferred.
• Experience in G-Code and/or Conversational Programming preferred.
• Experience in CAD/CAM Nesting Software preferred.
• 3 or more years operating CNC equipment.
• Experience in an industrial/manufacturing environment.
• Experience with DMG Mori CNC machines and Amada Saws is a plus.
• Robotic Automation Systems is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Read blueprints and GD&T; set up mills and lathes with appropriate tooling.
• Operate CNC equipment; perform turning, milling, drilling, and threading operations.
• Verify part dimensions and quality; document results and logs.
• Maintain and troubleshoot equipment; perform preventive maintenance.
• Adhere to safety procedures and production schedules; communicate issues to supervisor.
