Job summary

The Amatriot Group is seeking a Junior CNC Machinist to set up and operate CNC vertical machining centers for prototype development. You will work from CAM programs, blueprints, and sketches to ensure dimensional accuracy and safe shop operations.

Responsibilities include selecting cutters, editing CAM programs, and maintaining tight tolerances in a fast-paced environment. A machinist apprenticeship and DoD-relevant standards familiarity are preferred.

Qualifications

• Successful completion of machinist apprenticeship.
• Journeyman CNC Machinist qualification or equivalent experience.
• Trade school certificate relevant to machining.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Determine and perform setup of CNC vertical machining centers for CAM programs.
• Set up and operate the full range of machine tools in a prototype shop.
• Read blueprints and perform CAM edits as needed.
