Job summary

EXPANSIA is seeking a skilled CNC Machinist/Operator for a full-time, night-shift position in Hollywood, MD. You will program, set up and run CNC lathes and multi-axis milling machines, plus waterjet cutting, to meet tight tolerances on complex parts.

You will also perform fixture design support and maintain tooling inventories. Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED with 1+ year of related experience, ability to obtain Secret clearance, proficiency with Solidworks/Inventor, and

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED and 1+ year of relevant experience.
• Ability to obtain Secret clearance.
• Understand AS9100 procedures and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Program, set up and operate CNC live-tool lathes.
• Program, set up and operate 3–5 axis CNC milling machines.
• Operate shop equipment and perform quality checks with calipers and gauges.
• Use CAM software to program CNC machines.
• Review drawings and blueprints to ensure accuracy.
