Job summary

Ultra-Machining-Company,-Inc- is seeking a CMM Programmer I to develop and support automated inspection programs at our Monticello, MN site. You’ll assist with program prove-out, measurement validation, and documentation within ASME Y14.5/ISO 1101 standards.

You will collaborate with Engineering, Quality and Production to maintain program accuracy, improve processes, and ensure timely inspection execution on day shift.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent required.
Technical degree in metrology/manufacturing preferred; equivalent experience considered.
Knowledge of CMM or automated inspection systems.
Ability to read blueprints and apply GD&T.
Experience with Calypso or PC-DMIS preferred.
CNC machining experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

Develop and support CMM/VCMM inspection programs under guidance.
Review outputs to ensure conformance to requirements.
Support program prove-out, setup verification and documentation.
Troubleshoot inspection equipment, software, and fixturing.
Collaborate with Engineering, Quality and Production.
