Job summary

PGM Corp is seeking an experienced CNC/ CMM technician to set up and operate a CMM machine for short and long run jobs, producing precision machined parts with quality and efficiency. You will support operators and S/U operators with existing processes and programs.

Responsibilities include setup, operation, debugging production processes, measurement with dial indicators and optical comparators, recording SPC data, and collaborating with engineering on tooling and inspection methods.

Qualifications

• Two to four years related experience and/or training.
• On-the-job training is provided as necessary.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules and operating procedures.

Responsibilities

• Setup CMM machine to establish consistent and efficient operation and quality.
• Operate CMM machine on new and existing jobs per established processes.
• Collaborate with CNC personnel to debug and develop production processes.
• Utilize dial indicators, optical comparators and CMM to measure complex tolerances.
• Perform inspection duties to maintain acceptable quality levels.
• Record Statistical Process Control data as required.
• Complete job paperwork accurately and follow reporting procedures.
• Assist other department operators when required.
