Job summary

Interclypse is seeking a Cloud Security Engineer to implement and monitor security controls across customer cloud environments, guided by senior engineers. The role is on-site at multiple Maryland locations and requires strong cloud service experience.

You will configure security tools, respond to alerts, and help enforce security policies in AWS or Azure; a related certification is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a computer science, information systems, engineering, or related technical discipline is preferred.
• At least three (3) years of IT experience with an emphasis on cloud services or system administration.
• At least one (1) year of hands-on experience with core cloud services in AWS or Azure; basic cloud security knowledge and a relevant certification recommended.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the implementation and monitoring of security controls within customer cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Work under supervision of senior engineers to configure cloud-native security tools, respond to security alerts, and enforce security policies.
