Interclypse is supporting several Maryland state agencies in the modernization and sustainment of critical systems. All positions are required to be on‑site at various locations in Maryland.

Position Summary: Designs, implements, and manages security for the cloud environments (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP). Is responsible for the effective design, implementation, and continuous optimization of cloud security posture management (CSPM) tools and other cloud‑native security services. Develops and enforces cloud security standards and provides expert guidance to agency development teams on secure cloud adoption and architecture.

Requirements

Required Qualifications

Education: A Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university with a major in computer science, information systems, engineering, or a related scientific or technical discipline is preferred.

General Experience: At least eight (8) years of experience in IT, with a focus on cloud computing or cybersecurity.

Specialized Experience: At least five (5) years of hands‑on experience architecting and securing large‑scale enterprise environments in AWS, Azure, and GCP. Must hold one or more relevant cloud security certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Security - Specialty, Azure Security Engineer Associate) and have expert‑level knowledge of infrastructure‑as‑code, container security, and CI/CD pipeline security.
