Job summary

Interclypse is seeking a Cloud Security Engineer to implement and monitor security controls across customer cloud environments, guided by senior engineers. The role is on-site at multiple Maryland locations and requires strong cloud service experience.

You will configure security tools, respond to alerts, and help enforce security policies in AWS or Azure; a related certification is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a computer science, information systems, engineering, or related technical discipline is preferred.
• At least three (3) years of IT experience with an emphasis on cloud services or system administration.
• At least one (1) year of hands-on experience with core cloud services in AWS or Azure; basic cloud security knowledge and a relevant certification recommended.

Required Qualifications

Education: A Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university with a major in computer science, information systems, engineering, or a related scientific or technical discipline is preferred.

General Experience: At least three (3) years of experience in IT, with an emphasis on cloud services or system administration.

Specialized Experience: At least one (1) year of hands-on experience with core cloud services in AWS or Azure. Basic knowledge of cloud security principles and a relevant certification (e.g., AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner) is required.
