Job summary

Tire Rack is seeking a Data Engineer I to join the IT Software Development team. You’ll develop and maintain cloud-based data pipelines using AWS, Databricks, Python, and SQL to empower analytics and data-driven decision-making across the organization.

Qualifications

0–2 years of experience in data engineering, cloud development, or a related technical field.
Foundational knowledge of Python and SQL.
Familiarity with AWS services, including S3, IAM, EC2, and RDS.
Exposure to Databricks, Apache Spark, or similar distributed data processing technologies preferred.

Responsibilities

Develop, maintain, and troubleshoot ETL/ELT data pipelines using Databricks, PySpark, and SQL.
Integrate data from various AWS sources, including S3, RDS, and APIs, into Delta Lake.
Monitor data workflows, identify issues, and ensure reliable data processing.
Write and optimize SQL queries to support data accessibility and performance.
Assist with data governance, security, and access management using Unity Catalog.
Collaborate with IT teams and business partners to support data warehousing and analytics initiatives.
