Job summary

Tetra Tech is seeking a civil/environmental engineer to contribute to a range of civil and environmental engineering projects, including solid waste management, landfill design, geotechnical engineering, stormwater design, and hydrologic modeling. Responsibilities include drafting (AutoCAD/Civil 3D), cost estimating, environmental permitting, and monitoring.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Civil, Environmental, Chemical, or Geological Engineering.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

Prepare plans and specifications.
Perform engineering design calculations.
Analyze reports, maps, drawings, environmental data, and aerial photographs.
Prepare environmental monitoring plans.
Draft construction plans using AutoCAD and Civil 3D.
Prepare construction cost estimates.
Collect and/or review environmental monitoring data, including air, gas, stormwater, and groundwater data.
Prepare environmental reports.
Oversee construction projects to monitor progress and ensure conformance with engineering plans, specifications, and construction and safety standards.
