Job summary
Tetra Tech is seeking a Junior Civil/Environmental Engineer in Pittsburgh, PA, to support a wide range of civil and environmental projects. You will assist with field sampling, data analysis, and design development from concept through construction while collaborating with project managers, engineers, and scientists.
Ideal candidates have a strong quantitative background, good communication skills, and are willing to travel up to 25%.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering or a related field.
- Zero to five years of experience in the engineering field.
- Willingness to travel approx. 25%.
- Completion of EIT/FE exam preferred, working toward PE license.
- HAZWOPER training desirable.
- CADD experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D features.
Responsibilities
- Assist with field investigations, data collection and sampling.
- Support civil and environmental project design and remediation activities.
- Prepare work plans, cost estimates, and deliverables.
- Coordinate with project team members and clients.
- Perform engineering calculations and data analysis to solve problems.
- Maintain detailed field documentation and quality control.
