Job summary

Langan is seeking an Entry‑Level Civil Engineer to join its collaborative team in New York, NY, White Plains, NY, or Melville, NY. This role supports planning, design and permitting of civil engineering, land development and infrastructure projects, providing hands‑on experience in site/civil design for mixed‑use developments and campuses.

Ideal candidates have a Bachelor’s in Civil Engineering, 0–2 years of experience, and strong communication and analytical skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
• 0-2 years of work-related experience.
• Minimum 3.0 GPA.
• EIT Certification or FE exam registration preferred.
• Internship or professional experience in site/civil design appreciated.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail with analytical and multitasking skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
• Availability to work Monday–Friday with occasional evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the planning, design and permitting of civil engineering, land development and infrastructure projects.
• Assist with preparation and modification of reports, plans and schedules using AutoCAD and Civil 3D.
• Assess soil, terrain, hydrological and geologic data for project design.
• Suggest approaches to improve efficiency and services.
• Apply engineering knowledge and advanced mathematics.
• Collaborate with team members on project tasks.
• Perform other duties as requested.
