Job summary

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in civil or environmental engineering.
  • Moderate experience in public works or utility engineering.
  • Valid driver's license in North Carolina.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and design public works and utility projects; prepare plans and specifications.
  • Serve as project engineer on construction projects; inspect projects for conformance to plans and specs.
  • Prepare and review specifications, maps, plans, profiles, and field notes.
  • Provide technical information to contractors and the public regarding engineering projects.
  • Assist with inflow/infiltration programs and related sewer asset projects.
  • Coordinate GIS/asset inventory and CCTV contract activities.
