Job summary

Austin Bridge & Road, part of Austin Industries, is seeking entry-level/new-grad engineers for projects in the Dallas/Fort Worth area. The role provides exposure to Operations, Estimating, Survey, Scheduling, and Engineering.

As a new graduate, you will assist with project controls, CAD drafting, earthwork calculations and preliminary design, while learning from experienced staff. A Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management is preferred; MS Office proficiency is required;

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management or equivalent preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)

Responsibilities

• Assist project controls with coordination and policy compliance.
• Create and update project schedules; support estimating and surveying.
• Read drawings and interpret specifications for ABR staff and subcontractors.
• Assist engineering with earthwork calculations, CAD drafting and basic design.
• Support field operations with project planning and layout.
