Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.
• EIT designation/FE exam passed before start.
• Understanding of AASHTO and ASCE standards.
• Familiarity with Wisconsin DOT procedures.
• Experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D for earthwork calculations.
• Valid driver’s license and own transportation.
• Ability to travel including overnight trips.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.
• Legally eligible to work in the U.S.; night/weekend flexibility.
• Soft skills: team player, adaptable, receptive to feedback.

Responsibilities

• Oversee roadway design and construction.
• Oversee projects in the field.
• Use AutoCAD Civil 3D to prepare design plans.
• Perform engineering calculations.
• Support engineers with day-to-day tasks.
• Interact with team, clients, and agencies.
• Handle multiple deadlines and produce high quality work.
