Job summary

You will assist with design, drafting, and documentation under the supervision of senior staff, gaining practical experience in transportation infrastructure delivery.

The role requires a four-year degree in civil engineering or related field and strong communication, organizational, and analytical skills.

Qualifications

• Accredited four-year degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• One year of work-related experience or five years if non-degreed.
• Ability to learn and apply CAD drafting and construction documentation.
• Ability to communicate effectively with management, coworkers, clients and vendors.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, revise, and maintain engineering drawings using CAD software.
• Assist engineers with design, drafting, and construction support activities.
• Review drawings for completeness and accuracy under guidance of senior staff.
• Incorporate redlines and maintain drawing files per project standards.
• Coordinate with engineers, designers, surveyors, and construction managers.
