Fluor Corporation is seeking a Construction Project Engineer for the California High‑Speed Rail Construction Office. You will provide technical oversight of design and construction, coordinating across civil, structural, geotechnical, systems, environmental disciplines and regulatory agencies.
The role requires an accredited engineering degree and at least five years of relevant infrastructure experience, with CA PE licensure preferred.

The Construction Project Engineer serves as an engineer within the California High‑Speed Rail (CAHSR) Construction Office, providing critical technical expertise to support the successful delivery of construction packages. This position is responsible for ensuring engineering design and construction activities are completed in compliance with CAHSR technical standards, federal and state regulations, and industry best practices. The Construction Project Engineer provides technical review, design oversight, and field engineering support to resolve complex engineering issues, while coordinating across multidisciplinary teams, consultants, contractors, and regulatory agencies. This role is essential in maintaining the integrity, safety, and quality of the nation’s first high‑speed rail system.

Salary Range: $145,500.00 - $270,500.00. The market rate for the role is typically at the mid‑point of the salary range; however, variations in final salary are determined by additional factors such as the candidate’s qualifications, relevant years of experience, geographic location, internal pay equity, and prevailing market conditions for the specific role.
