Job summary

Fluor Corporation is seeking a Construction Project Engineer for the California High‑Speed Rail Construction Office. You will provide technical oversight of design and construction, coordinating across civil, structural, geotechnical, systems, environmental disciplines and regulatory agencies.

The role requires an accredited engineering degree and at least five years of relevant infrastructure experience, with CA PE licensure preferred.

Qualifications

• Accredited four-year degree in engineering and eight years of work experience.
• Ability to communicate effectively with management, coworkers, clients, vendors and visitors.
• Strong knowledge of engineering standards, construction methods and project delivery for large transportation projects.
• Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) in California is preferred or eligible.

Responsibilities

• Review and provide technical oversight of submittals, drawings, and specifications for CAHSR compliance.
• Coordinate across disciplines to integrate design and construction activities.
• Support constructability reviews and value engineering assessments.
• Assist in development and maintenance of engineering procedures and project documentation.
