Bowman in Las Vegas, NV is seeking a Civil Designer I to support site, grading, utility, and municipal wastewater design within land development projects. You will transform rough sketches into CAD documents and collaborate with a project team under supervision to learn established processes.

Ideal candidates bring basic drafting experience, familiarity with Civil 3D, and a willingness to grow in a supportive, client-focused environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent required.
• Associate's degree preferred.
• Entry level position; any drafting/engineering technician experience in land development is a plus.
• Experience with Civil3D, Bentley Systems, and reading construction plans is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Perform work under direct supervision and follow established procedures; work is reviewed by senior staff.
• Learn and assist in design work with more senior staff.
• Transform initial sketches into working documents using CAD.
• Develop and review civil engineering drawings to meet specifications and standards.
• Assist senior staff or management with clients, agencies, and design teams on moderately complex issues.
• Coordinate with the project manager on scope or budget revisions.
