Job summary

Coleman Company, Inc. in Savannah, GA is seeking an Entry Level Civil Engineering Designer to support land development projects along coastal Georgia.

You will prepare plans, specs, reports, and permitting documents under the guidance of licensed engineers and project managers. Ideal candidates have a foundation in civil engineering, proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D, and a drive to grow technically and professionally.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or related field.
• 0–1 year of civil engineering discipline or similar experience.
• EIT certification preferred or ability to obtain within 12 months.

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed civil engineering plans, specifications, and design documents.
• Collaborate with Project Managers to produce accurate, timely deliverables.
• Conduct analyses to support design decisions.
• Use AutoCAD and Civil 3D to develop engineering drawings.
• Assist with calculations, reports, drainage documents, and permitting submittals.
• Communicate with clients, review agencies, and utilities to address needs.
