Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• EIT preferred or ability to obtain within 12 months.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and Civil 3D required.
• Strong understanding of engineering concepts, design standards, and permitting processes.
• Excellent analytical, organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Effective written and verbal communication abilities.

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed civil engineering plans, specifications, and design documents per project requirements.
• Collaborate with Project Managers and design team to produce accurate deliverables.
• Conduct research and perform engineering analyses to support design decisions.
• Utilize AutoCAD and Civil 3D to develop efficient drawings.
• Assist with calculations, reports, drainage documents, and permitting submittals.
• Communicate with clients, review agencies, and utility providers to address project needs.
• Participate in site visits and construction meetings to verify design intent.
• Maintain knowledge of codes, design standards, and best practices.
• Work independently and in a team environment; focus on accuracy and quality.

This is a full-time role built for an engineer in the first year or two of their career.You'll help prepare plans, specifications, reports, and permitting documents for land development projects across coastal Georgia: residential and multi-family neighborhoods, industrial and institutional sites, municipal work, and resort amenities.
