Job summary

Leidos is seeking a Junior CEMA Software Engineer in Lawton, OK to join our local development team to create solutions for complex defense problems. You will design, build, deploy, and maintain mission-critical software supporting radar, C2, surface-to-air and artillery systems.

The role emphasizes in-person collaboration in Lawton with a focus on Agile practices, Python/C++, and modern DevOps workflows to deliver reliable cyber tools and simulations. Must relocate if needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or equivalent in a technical field (EE, CE, SE, CS).
• Willingness to travel ~10% annually, CONUS testing locations.
• Experience with Agile development, CI/CD, and DevOps tooling (Atlassian, git, Jenkins, Artifactory).
• Proficiency in Python (OOP) or C++ programming.
• Experience as part of a Scrum team delivering iterative software.
• Must live in or relocate to Lawton, OK.
• Must be a U.S. citizen.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Final Top-Secret clearance.

Responsibilities

• Support a team of engineers in developing cyber tools for radar, C2, SAM, and artillery systems.
• Develop simulations to emulate CEMA effects and environments.
• Research cybersecurity threats to military systems.
