Job summary

Leidos in Lawton, OK is seeking a Cybersecurity Product Engineer to join the Cyber & Analytics Business Area (CABA). You will work with a diverse team on cyber, EW, and PNT threats against weapon systems and tactical-edge technologies.

Responsibilities include creating procedures for a cyber operations platform, evaluating open-source tools, developing IDS/IPS algorithms, dashboards, and custom installers. TS/SCI clearance is required for this role.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in cybersecurity, computer engineering, computer science.
• 2-4 years of professional development experience.
• Ability to write software and scripts in Python, Bash, C++, HTML, or JavaScript.
• Familiarity with Wireshark and network protocol analysis.
• Experience with virtualization and container tooling (Docker, Kubernetes, Vagrant, VirtualBox).

Responsibilities

• Create procedures and techniques for ongoing usage of a cyber operations platform.
• Evaluate, select, and integrate open-source cyber tools.
• Develop new IDS/IPS algorithms to detect malicious behavior.
• Develop graphical cyber dashboards and tools to visualize cyber activities.
• Develop custom installers for rugged tactical edge systems.
