Job summary

AtkinsRéalis seeks a JR CEI Inspector in Sarasota, FL to join our field team. The role involves handling materials, preparing testing sites, and assisting with soil, concrete, and asphalt testing on construction sites.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience with field sampling and testing is a plus.
• Ability to read basic plans or locate features and elevations.

Responsibilities

• Carries materials (up to 60 lbs.) to testing sites.
• Prepares testing site using a shovel, wheelbarrow and other tools.
• Assists field representatives in sampling materials and conducting soil, concrete or asphalt testing.
• Takes general notes on construction processes and maintains diary records.
• Performs minimal plan reading such as station location, curve information and elevations.
• Performs other duties as directed by supervision.
