Job summary

AtkinsRéalis is hiring a Jr CEI Inspector to join the Sarasota, FL team. The role involves assisting in sampling materials and performing soil, concrete, and asphalt testing, while preparing sites and carrying materials up to about 60 lbs.

You will take notes on construction progress and perform basic plan reading to locate features and elevations. Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or equivalent and an interest in field inspection.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience or exposure to field sampling and testing is a plus.
• Basic understanding of construction documentation and notes is helpful.

Responsibilities

• Assist field representatives in sampling materials and conducting soil, concrete, or asphalt testing.
• Prepare testing sites using basic tools and equipment.
• Carry materials and maintain safety and cleanliness at the site.
• Take general notes on construction process and diary records.
• Perform minimal plan reading for locations and elevations.
