Job summary

SecureVision in Destin, FL is seeking an entry-level CAD/GIS Technician to support construction and engineering operations by performing basic CAD and GIS work and assisting with the 3GIS system and 811 database management.

This role is ideal for someone with basic CAD/GIS knowledge who is eager to learn, reporting to the Director of Construction Services. A high school diploma is required, with a preference for technical CAD/GIS training and related experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Technical training or coursework in CAD, GIS, or related field preferred.
• Prior CAD/GIS experience in telecommunications or utilities is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform basic CAD-related work as directed by the Director of Construction Services.
• Perform basic GIS-related work as directed by the Director of Construction Services.
• Assist with the management and maintenance of the 3GIS system.
• Maintain information within the 811 database.
• Keep CAD, GIS, and 811 records organized and up to date.
• Support the Director of Construction Services with CAD, GIS, and 811 needs.
