Job summary

Dover Corporation is seeking a Jr. Buyer for our Salisbury, Maryland location. The role handles purchase orders, expedites deliveries, and maintains inventory controls to optimize cost and efficiency.

You will work with multiple departments to align restock levels and supplier performance. The ideal candidate has an associate degree or equivalent experience, solid communication skills, and familiarity with ERP and ISO/AS9100 standards.

Qualifications

• Associated degree or comparable work experience.
• Must have good communication skills with the ability to guide and direct customers or suppliers; both writing and orally.
• Computer skills with familiarity of computerized purchasing and inventory systems.
• Familiarity with ISO and AS9100 standards and requirements.

Responsibilities

• Identify trends and suppliers as required.
• Ensure PO's are accurate and confer with other departments to verify orders.
• Prepare purchase orders, control prices and quality and ensure delivery of materials and equipment to meet objectives.
