Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field is required; 0-2 years of related experience preferred.
• US Citizenship with ability to obtain/maintain government security clearance.
• Knowledge of ISO and/or AS9100 is a plus.
• Follows import/export requirements as required.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates procurement activities from intent to purchase through delivery.
• Analyzes commodity requirements including specifications and supplier.
• Solicits and evaluates proposals for requested commodity.
• Interviews potential suppliers to ensure requirements are met.
• Advises team on appropriate supplier choices.
• Negotiates lowest cost while balancing quality and schedule.
• Implements purchase contracts compliant with regulations.
• Ensures on-time delivery, negotiated price, and quality standards.
• Maintains timely order records and delivery notices.
• Distributes commodity cost-effectively; may require extensive schedule coordination.
